Strengthening Relationships for a Healthy Family

Kathryn Adorney, Ph. D. and Neil Rindlaub, LMSW, have been married for 32 years and have two adult children.

Kathryn has been in private practice for 30 years since receiving her Kathy-AboutPh.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. Child, adolescent, couple and family counseling has been a primary focus of Kathryn’s work, which was shaped by post-doctoral trainings at the Family Institute of Westchester and The Institute for Child, Adolescent and Family Studies in New York City. Kathryn’s more recent immersion in the Core Skills Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy has provided fresh energy to her clinical work, as she enjoys her enhanced effectiveness in rebuilding distressed relationships.

Neil-croppedNeil recently received his Masters of Social Work degree from SUNY/Albany after a long business career and has established a private practice working with couples, children and families. He shares Kathryn’s passionate interest in helping families cultivate clear communication and deep emotional connection. Neil has also completed the Core Skills training in EFT.
