Hold Me Tight Workshops

Susan Johnson, PhD., the lead formulator of Emotionally Focused Therapy, designed HOLD ME TIGHT (HMT) workshops as a means of educating couples in how to repair, enhance, and nurture continual growth in their love relationship.

HMT-Workshop-1Over the course of the weekend, Hold Me Tight workshops help couples from every background

  • understand the deep human need for emotional connection,
  • recognize your common patterns of relationship distress,
  • foster the kind the kind of communication that builds love, trust, and connection.

The HMT workshop program consists of short interactive presentations by Kathryn and Neil, including video content and discussion. Neil and Kathryn will gently coach you through in-class exercises that will help you explore and address your relationship issues and build more secure and enjoyable connections.

Confidentiality of personal disclosures, as well as emotional safety and respect, are fundamental values of this program.

Participants typically report that the HMT workshop was not only enriching, but also enlivening and fun for both men and women.
